As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.
As part of the AI Infra team, you will work on software at all levels of the stack that enables DSP acceleration for AI inference, computer vision, video/audio processing, and more.
Qualcomm is looking for a Software Engineer to architect and develop embedded platform software for CPU, DSP, and NPU processors (and associated AI engines) in our Snapdragon SoC portfolio. In this role, you will utilize your solid foundation in embedded software, operating systems, and drivers – along with a deep understanding of high-performance processor architecture (multi-core, multi-threading, caching, etc.) – to deploy and optimize platform software for complex multimedia and machine learning use cases running on our SoCs. The ideal candidate has significant experience in C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems, driver development, and computer architecture, and has successfully optimized software on resource-constrained platforms. Experience with PCIe or Windows MCDM/WDDM driver stacks is a plus.

$94,200.00 - $141,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
