Position overview
This Life Insurance Producer role combines direct sales with leadership and agency-growth responsibilities. The role is focused on generating new clients, servicing existing policyholders, and developing other producers through coaching, recruiting, and operational support. The position is suited to motivated sales professionals who seek uncapped earnings and a clear path to agency leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and convert leads to establish and expand a book of life insurance business.
  • Conduct client needs assessments, present product recommendations, and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and company underwriting processes.
  • Develop and execute local marketing and outreach activities to build pipeline and visibility.
  • Support agency growth by recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new producers; develop sales processes and performance standards.
  • Use CRM and other sales tools to track activity, pipeline, and client information; produce regular sales and activity reports.
  • Deliver high-quality client service to retain business and generate referrals.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience; prior insurance or financial services sales experience is a plus.
  • Current state life insurance producer license preferred; candidates without a license who demonstrate strong sales capability will be considered and supported to obtain licensure.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage a sales pipeline independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales reporting; comfortable using digital tools for virtual meetings and outreach.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience recruiting, training, or leading other sales professionals.
  • Knowledge of multiple life insurance products and underwriting basics.
  • Experience developing local marketing initiatives and referral partnerships.
